My listing's web address changed — do the old links still work?

Yes. An old address forwards to the new one automatically, for good, so any link you already sent still opens your listing.

Why an address changes

Your listing's address is made from the cart's details when it first goes up — for example villagesgolfcartsales.com/carts/2024-yamaha-drive2-quietech-4-seats-…. It does not change when you edit the listing, so a link you texted to a neighbour keeps working when you drop the price.

Very occasionally the details it was made from were wrong — the wrong year or make. When that happens we can give the listing a corrected address.

What you need to do

1. Nothing. The old link forwards on its own.
2. If you want to share the new address, open your listing and copy it from the address bar, or find it on /sell/manage.
