I left the page while listing my cart — is it lost?
No. Once you have pressed Save and continue, your cart is saved to your account, and going back to /sell puts you straight back where you were.
What happens
- You fill in the cart details and press Save and continue. From that moment the cart is saved, even though it is not on the site yet.
- If the page reloads — which a phone sometimes does when you go off to take a photo or open your photo library — or you close it and come back later, open VillagesGolfCartSales.com/sell again.
- You land on the photos, with a note naming your cart: "We kept the cart you were listing — the 2022 ICON i40." Any photos you had already added are still there.
- Carry on. Change the details on the next screen takes you back to the form, with everything you typed still in it.
I want to list a different cart
Tap Start a different cart instead, under the note. You get a fresh, empty form. The first cart is not deleted — it waits on /sell/manage until you come back to it or remove it.
Why the boxes do not offer to fill themselves in
Your phone or browser will not suggest old entries for the year, make, model, price or anything else about the cart. That is on purpose. A suggestion from something typed on another website can end up describing a different cart, so everything about your cart is only ever what you type. Your name and mobile number still fill in as usual, because those are you, not the cart.
Can anybody else see my unfinished cart?
No. It is only ever shown to you, when you are signed in. It is not on the site until you press Put my cart on the site.
Still stuck?
If you land on an empty form when you expected your cart, check you signed in with the same email as before — your cart belongs to that account. Then contact us with the email you used, and we will find it.
